The Furies — afterlives, Toronto darkwave lineage post-1996

Afterlives: Millionaires, Sylvania, Collaborations with Mars Roberge, Rob Sanzo, Steve Leckie, Jennifer Swain

Afterlives. Transmission. Transition.

Post-1996

The decade didn't simply end; it fractured.

From the dissolution of the core lineup came a series of new trajectories — parallel projects and sonic departures that carried the band's original friction into new spaces. These are the offshoots of the 1986–1996 run: the next movements for those who were there.

Lineage

Sylvania

Toronto darkwave project carrying forward The Furies' atmospheric instincts into the late-90s and early 2000s. Cold-synth architecture refined from the band's original sonic skeleton. Live residencies across the post-Furies shadow circuit.

Millionaires

Collaborations with Mars Roberge, Rob Sanzo, Steve Leckie. A harder, scrappier vehicle that retained the underground instinct while shifting tonally. Documented performances at The Rivoli, Bovine Sex Club, and the late-era Queen West rooms.

Fleurs Du Mal

Collaborations with Jennifer Swain. Baudelairean in naming and in instinct — blackened romanticism translated into sound. The most recent extension of the Furies lineage.
